Arya Shruti Haasan in Vaadi Vaasa

Arya-Shruti Haasan in Vaadi Vaasal Arya-Shruti Haasan in Vaadi Vaasal November 29th, 2013 | | Tags: Arya, Shruti Haasan Magizh Thirumeni, who has made films such as Mundhinam Paartheney and Thadaiyara Thaakka, has launched his third directorial venture which has been titled as Vaadi Vaasal. The significance of Vaadi Vaasal is that it brings together for the first time Arya and Shruti Haasan. Arya is on a roll with back-to-back successes in Raja Rani and Arrambam while Shruti hasn’t taken up any Tamil film offers after 7am Arivu and 3. Shruti, who has been in the news in recent days for her courage in aborting an attempt to attack her at her Mumbai apartment, would be making a comeback of sorts in Tamil films after more than an year-and-a-half. Though it was rumoured earlier that Thirumeni would be working with Arya, it is only now that he has confirmed it. Vaadi Vaasal is the place where bulls are tied and then released during the famous Jallikkattu (taming the bull) festival which is held for centuries together in Tamil Nadu soon after Pongal. In Magizh’s style, the film would be a typical commercial flick and would have riveting action-packed sequences. The script would be based in Madurai, it is learnt. Hitesh Jabak, who made films such as Anjathay and Poda Podi in the past, would be producing the film whose shoot is expected to commence in Kerala at the earliest
