Jilla is a film which has Vijay, Malayalam super star Mohanlal and Kajal Aggarwal in the cast. This film is being released on 10th January on the occasion of Pongal. The last sequence was shot in Thirumoorthy Hills which is located about 50 km from Pollachi. This was a song sequence for a temple festival. The song begins with the lines Pattu Onnu. Mohanlal and Vijay had danced for this sequence. Both of them have danced nonstop for 40 seconds. Director Nesan felt that it would be appropriate if Jiiva and Jithan Ramesh could be a part of this song sequence. He told R B Chowdary about this. He in turn called Jiiva and Jithan Ramesh to the shooting spot. Both of them danced with Vijay. Thousands of people who came to witness this shooting applauded when the song sequence was shot.
