SRK Issued A Notice By HC In Regard To The Sex Determination Test

The legal hassles are turning out to be never ending scenarios for Shah Rukh Khan. Soon after AbRam's birth, it was all over the news that Shah Rukh and Gauri had conducted sex determination test prior to the kid's birth.

Now the Bombay High Court has issued notice to the Khan family following the petition filed by the social activist. The activist has challenged the magistrate court's order which had earlier refused her application for documents regarding AbRam's birth through surrogacy.

Varsha Deshpande, alleged that SRK-Gauri had opted for Child's sex determination test before his birth, which is a criminal offense under the Pre-conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act (PCPNDT). She filed a complaint in the magistrate's court seeking action against Shah Rukh, Gauri and the Jaslok Hospital. Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had post the inquiry, given a clean chit to the Khans, implying that no offence under the PCPNDT Act had been committed.

Varsha's lawyer, Uday Warunjikar spoke about how the magistrate rejected their application which they were seeking in light of verification of the documents.

This has again landed SRK in the legal trouble and the couple has been summoned by Bombay High Court. Justice R.P. Sondurbaldota on Friday issued notices and has called the matter for hearing on January 10.
