HEART ATTACKS & HOT WATER

HEART ATTACKS & HOT WATER:
MUST SHARE THIS INFO...............

A very good article which takes two minutes to
read.

Heart Attacks And Drinking Warm Water
This is a very good article. Not only about the
warm water after your meal, but about Heart
Attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea
with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is
time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.
For those who like to drink cold water, this
article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a
cup of cold drink after a meal.

However, the
cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you
have just consumed. It will slow down the
digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid,
it will break down and be absorbed by the
intestine faster than the solid food. It will line
the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats
and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup
or warm water after a meal.
Common Symptoms Of Heart Attack...

A serious note about heart attacks - You! should
know that not every heart attack symptom is
going to be the left arm hurting . Be aware of
intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during
the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense
sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of
people who have a heart attack while they are
asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake
you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be
aware. The more we know, the better chance we
could survive..

'Kick-Ass 2': Assault Rifles Removed From Promotional Still

The still featuring Hit-Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) originally featured two assault-style weapons when The Hollywood Reporter downloaded the photo July 10 from publicity site image.net. By Friday, the still had been replaced on image.net with an altered version in which the two guns were no longer visible.
Kick-Ass 2 studio Universal Pictures did not immediately respond to THR’s request for comment about the change.

Shikhar Dhawan thanks God (and Zimbabwe) for giving him three chances to get to his century

Shikhar Dhawan is relishing the challenges that face opening batsmen under the testing conditions imposed by the latest ODI laws, having scored his third century in two months to see India to a 58-run victory over Zimbabwe on Friday.

Shikhar Dhawan enjoyed more than his fair share of luck, surviving two dropped catches as well as a catch off a no-ball on his way to 116 - his highest ODI score - as India took a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.

$100 per hour

SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"

DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?"
SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"

DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you
ask such a thing?"

SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how
much do you make an hour?"

DAD: "If you must know, I make $100 an hour."

SON: "Oh! (With his head down).

SON: "Daddy, may I please borrow $50?"
The father was furious.

DAD: "If the only reason you asked that is so
you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy
or some other nonsense, then you march
yourself straight to your room and go to bed.
Think about why you are being so selfish. I work
hard everyday for such this childish behavior."
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut
the door.
The man sat down and started to get even
angrier about the little boy's questions. How
dare he ask such questions only to get some
money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed
down, and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to
buy with that $ 50 and he really didn't ask for
money very often. The man went to the door of
the little boy's room and opened the door.

DAD: "Are you asleep, son?"

SON: "No daddy, I'm awake".

DAD: "I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard
on you earlier. It's been a long day and I took
out my aggravation on you. Here's the $50 you
asked for."
The little boy sat straight up, smiling.

SON: "Oh, thank you daddy!"
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out
some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the
boy already had money, started to get angry
again. The little boy slowly counted out his
money, and then looked up at his father.

DAD: "Why do you want more money if you
already have some?"
SON: "Because I didn't have enough, but now I
do.
"Daddy, I have $100 now. Can I buy an hour of
your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I
would like to have dinner with you."
The father was crushed. He put his arms around
his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.
It's just a short reminder to all of you working
so hard in life. We should not let time slip
through our fingers without having spent some
time with those who really matter to us, those
close to our hearts. Do remember to share that
$100 worth of your time with someone you
love? If we die tomorrow, the company that we
are working for could easily replace us in a
matter of days. But the family and friends we
leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of
their lives. And come to think of it, we pour
ourselves more into work than to our family.
Some things are more important.

List of 15 ODI centuries scored by Kohli

Here is a complete list of all international centuries scored by Virat Kohli. So far the 23-year-old has scored 13 ODI tons and 1 Test century in 89 ODIs and 8 Test matches.

ODIs

1. Kohli scored his maiden ODI ton, 107 runs off 114 balls against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens in 2009.

2. Unbeaten 102 runs off 92 balls against Bangladesh at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium Mirpur, Bangladesh

3. 118 runs off 121 balls against Australia at ACA-VDCA Stadium Visakhapatnam, India

Virat Kohli -- The next Sachin Tendulkar in making?

On Wednesday at Harare, leading a young Indian side against minnows Zimbabwe, Virat Kohli slammed yet another One Day International (ODI) century.

Kohli came in to bat after India had lost the wicket of opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan early in their chase of 229 runs. After the departure of Rohit Sharma, the 24-year-old stitched a century stand for the third wicket with debutant Ambati Rayudu to lead India to a comfortable win.

Microsoft Security Essentials –

Another Kohli ton in a chase, another India win

Usually, Indian cricketers ply their trade in packed and raucous concrete bowls and have to deal with a large media contingent. The Harare Sports Club, in contrast, features vast grass banks, rudimentary stands and is ringed by trees. Only a couple of Indian journalists have made the trip to Zimbabwe to cover the series.
If that wasn't enough to ease the pressure on an Indian squad filled with understudies, the cool weather on a sunny day, the toothless Zimbabwe bowling and a benign pitch made them feel all the more comfortable. With the schooldkids dancing in the stands and plenty of fans having a leisurely lunch near the pavilion, the match seemed more like a casual afternoon game in the park, rather than an international encounter.
The intensity of the contest particularly dimmed once Virat Kohli took charge of yet another chase. Over the past three years, Kohli has developed into one of the leading batsmen in one-dayers, a reputation forged on the back of several big centuries when hunting down targets, but today's hundred - his 15th in ODIs, drawing him level with Virender Sehwag and Mohammad Yousuf - could well have been his easiest in international cricket.

The chase revolved around a 159-run stand for the third wicket between debutant Ambati Rayudu and Kohli. Rayudu first came to national attention a decade ago, when picked as a 17-year-old for an A tour of the Caribbean and was touted as the next big thing in Indian cricket. However, a tussle with his state association and a dalliance with the unofficial Indian Cricket League combined to keep him out of the India team for years. The friendly conditions were the perfect setting for Rayudu to make his debut, and he helped himself to an unbeaten half-century.
Rayudu and Kohli came together after India's opening pair of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma departed fairly early - Dhawan after failing to control a hook, and Rohit after nicking a wide, amiable delivery to the keeper. Kohli was fluent right from the start, highlighted by a controlled drive through extra cover and a superbly timed flick to the midwicket boundary. With the asking-rate well in hand, Rayudu took his time early on to settle any nerves, mainly dealing in singles - he hit just two fours till he reached his half-century.
With the pitch having dried out, and Zimbabwe's spinners not getting much purchase, Prosper Utseya's late double-strike wasn't much more than an opportunity for the crowd to cheer.
The gulf between the two sides was clearly in evidence, though it was widened considerably by India winning the toss. The only time the pitch encouraged the bowlers was soon after the 9am start, and India's new-ball bowlers, Vinay Kumar and Shami Ahmed, had the ball swerving around though they couldn't separate the dogged Zimbabwe opening pair of Sikandar Raza and Vusi Sibanda. The openers, well aware of the early danger, concentrated on keeping wickets in hand, not bothering about the scoring rate which remained below three in the first hour.
Raza, the Sialkot-born batsman, shrugged off an indifferent start to his international career with a watchful 82 that held the innings together. The camera frequently panned to a man wearing a 'Team Raza' t-shirt, and Raza didn't disappoint his fans. The run-rate may have been wanting, and it wasn't until the 32nd over that he reached his half-century, but he then showcased his repertoire of strokes, highlighted by two sixes in the Powerplay - one a stunning straight hit over Vinay's head and the other a muscular swat over midwicket for six more.
India's spinners kept the pressure on Zimbabwe's top order. Jadeja continued to be in top form, with his steady spin fetching him 10-3-33-0 while legspinner Amit Mishra, playing his first ODI in more than two years, got three wickets. His googly was going to be a big weapon against a team that hasn't faced him too often, and it provided India the first breakthrough, as Sibanda was lbw in the 22nd over.
The disciplined bowling meant that Zimbabwe struggled to lift the scoring rate. It was only around the batting Powerplay, when Raza and Brendan Taylor - Zimbabwe's best batsman, who walked out as late as the 34th over - piled on 43 runs in five overs, that the home side finally got a move on. After Taylor departed, Raza followed, falling for 82 as he missed a short ball from Mishra. He walked off dejected, and though Elton Chigumbura reeled off a series of boundaries in an unbeaten 43 off 34 balls to lift the target to 229, it didn't prove much of a challenge for India.

SIM card hack could affect millions worldwide

A United Nations group that advises nations on cyber-security plans to send out an alert about significant vulnerabilities in mobile phone technology that could potentially enable hackers to remotely attack at least half a billion phones.

The bug, discovered by German firm, allows hackers to remotely gain control of and also clone certain mobile SIM cards.

Hackers could use compromised SIMs to commit financial crimes or engage in electronic espionage, according to Berlin's Security Research Labs, which will describe the vulnerabilities at the Black Hat hacking conference that opens in Las Vegas on July 31.

The U.N.'s Geneva-based International Telecommunications Union, which has reviewed the research, described it as "hugely significant."

"These findings show us where we could be heading in terms of cyber-security risks," ITU Secretary General Hamadoun Touré told Reuters.

He said the agency would notify telecommunications regulators and other government agencies in nearly 200 countries about the potential threat and also reach out to hundreds of mobile companies, academics and other industry experts.

A spokeswoman for the GSMA, which represents nearly 800 mobile operators worldwide, said it also reviewed the research.

"We have been able to consider the implications and provide guidance to those network operators and SIM vendors that may be impacted," said GSMA spokeswoman Claire Cranton.

Nicole Smith, a spokeswoman for Gemalto NV, the world's biggest maker of SIM cards, said her company supported GSMA's response.

"Our policy is to refrain from commenting on details relating to our customers' operations," she said.

Becoming the SIM

Cracking SIM cards has long been the Holy Grail of hackers because the tiny devices are located in phones and allow operators to identify and authenticate subscribers as they use networks.

Karsten Nohl, the chief scientist who led the research team and will reveal the details at Black Hat, said the hacking only works on SIMs that use an old encryption technology known as DES.

Nohl said he conservatively estimates that at least 500 million phones are vulnerable to the attacks he will discuss at Black Hat. He added that the number could grow if other researchers start looking into the issue and find other ways to exploit the same class of vulnerabilities.

The ITU estimates some 6 billion mobile phones are in use worldwide. It plans to work with the industry to identify how to protect vulnerable devices from attack, Touré said.

Once a hacker copies a SIM, it can be used to make calls and send text messages impersonating the owner of the phone, said Nohl, who has a doctorate in computer engineering from the University of Virginia.

"We become the SIM card. We can do anything the normal phone users can do," Nohl said in a phone interview.

"If you have a MasterCard number or PayPal data on the phone, we get that too," if it is stored on the SIM, he said.

The newly identified attack method only grants access to data stored on the SIM, which means payment applications that store their secrets outside of the SIM card are not vulnerable to this particular hacking approach.

Yet Nohl warned that when data is stored outside of a SIM card it could fall victim to a large range of other already known vulnerabilities, which is what has prompted the industry to put payment information on SIMs in the first place.

iPhone, Android, BlackBerry

The mobile industry has spent several decades defining common identification and security standards for SIMs to protect data for mobile payment systems and credit card numbers. SIMs are also capable of running apps.

Nohl said Security Research Labs found mobile operators in many countries whose phones were vulnerable, but declined to identify them. He said mobile phone users in Africa could be among the most vulnerable because banking is widely done via mobile payment systems with credentials stored on SIMs.

All types of phones are vulnerable, including iPhones from Apple Inc, phones that run Google Inc's Android software and BlackBerry Ltd smartphones, he said.

BlackBerry's director of security response and threat analysis, Adrian Stone, said in a statement that his company proposed new SIM card standards last year to protect against the types of attacks described by Nohl, which the GSMA has adopted and advised members to implement. (Source: NDTV)

Zimbabwe score 228/7 after Sikandar Raza's 82

Zimbabwe scored 228 for seven courtesy of Sikandar Raza's 82 off 112 deliveries against India in the first One-Day International (ODI) at Harare Sports Club on Wednesday.

For India, Amit Mishra (three for 43) was the most successful bowler, getting all the three wickets off his deceptive googly which foxed the batsmen.

Little Prince

Prince William and his wife Kate kept the world guessing about the name of their first child as they left hospital to start family life with the future king.

"We are still working on a name, so we will have that as soon as we can," William told reporters outside St Mary's Hospital in London on Tuesday. "It is the first time we have seen him really, so we are having a proper chance to catch up."

George, James, Alexander and Louis are the bookmakers' favourites for the youngest royal, third in line to the British throne after Prince Charles and William.

The royal couple gave the world its first sight of their baby when they emerged from hospital to cheers from well-wishers and a barrage of camera flashes.

A beaming Kate posed for pictures before handing her son to William who joked that the baby had more hair than him and had inherited his wife's good looks.

The birth gave a further boost to the royal family after the celebration last year of The Queen's 60 years on the throne and the marriage of Kate and William in 2011.

The monarchy's popularity sank to a low in the 1990s after a string of divorces and the death of William's mother, Diana. Elizabeth was criticised for her response to her death. The Guardian newspaper described the turnaround as "an incredible recovery".

'Little Prince'

Most British newspapers devoted their front pages to big pictures of the baby, with headlines such as "Hello World" and "Our Little Prince". The story also received blanket coverage on many TV networks and websites around the world.

Royal precedent suggests there may be no rush to release the infant's name. It took a month for Prince Charles' name to be made public and a week for William. However, his brother Harry's name was released a day after his birth.

After weeks of fevered coverage, the couple are expected to keep a low profile.

They have been living in a remote part of Wales, where William works as a rescue helicopter pilot. They are expected to move later this year to London's Kensington Palace, William's childhood home.

Royal observers say William will shield his son from the obsessive attention that plagued his mother Diana, killed in a car crash in 1997 after her car was chased by photographers.

"William knows only too well that his baby son will be the new favourite creature in the circus he grew up in," wrote Daily Telegraph columnist Allison Pearson. "Every plan he and Kate have put in place is to protect him."

SA face the heat from conditions and hosts

After Saturday's 180-run opening loss, South Africa captain AB de Villiers said his side would not spend time dissecting their performance, but would instead attempt to forget the match ever happened. With so many of their best players unavailable, perhaps that is not so bad a ploy. If South Africa's touring party did not seem outmatched in these conditions when they landed, they certainly do now. It will take a great deal of belief and a little luck to overcome an opponent, who has their measure in skill and technical proficiency.
The batsmen will reason they simply had a poor outing, and could not make their risks pay off with such a large total to chase, but foremost among the visitors' woes must be their bowling at the death. The last 12 overs of Sri Lanka's innings not only cost 137, but the South Africa attack also seemed incapable of adhering to any semblance of a plan. Yorkers were missed, often by a distance, and the fast men reverted to a puzzling Plan B of digging the ball in short, despite Kumar Sangakkara having clobbered plenty to the square-leg boundary throughout his innings.
Before the match de Villiers spoke of the potential he saw in Chris Morris and Rory Kleinveldt, but with all his fast bowlers available for the second game, experience may mark the route to success.
South Africa's fielding was also uncharacteristically poor, with a straightforward chance at slip going down early in the innings, before a slew of ground-

Dropped your handset in the bath ??

Dropped your handset in the bath?? Is it
drenched in unexpected downpour??

Don't panic -- just follow these steps
1. Firstly, retrieve your handset from the drink
straight away. It will decrease the risk of
damage.

2. Resist the urge to check if it still works or
press any buttons, since putting pressure on the
keys could shift liquid further into the device.

3. In all cases, the best thing to do is
immediately pull out the battery, thus
minimizing power to the device that may cause
it to short circuit. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT..!!

4. Remove any peripherals and attachments on
your phone, such as cases.
5. Extract the SIM card and any SD cards it
carries, leaving ports or covers on your handset
open to aid ventilation.

6. Dry off everything with a towel, including the
exterior of your handset, being careful not to let
any water drain into openings on the phone.

7. Even when everything's dry, it's very likely
there's latent moisture within the device that
you'll want to get out before turning it on. The
most oft-reported fix for a sodden phone is to
bury the handset in a bowl of dry rice. You can
also use silica gel packs -- the kind used in
shoeboxes -- to greater effect.
Place your phone in an airtight container and
completely cover it with your choice of
desiccant. Leave the container for 24-48 hours
for the material to draw all the moisture out of
your handset.

8. When you're confident it's dried out, replace
the battery and try switching it on.
